What I Do

I open my eyes, pray and plead for God's presence to go before me and behind me, for I have found out that I can do nothing without the One who died for me.

I get up, trying to organize thoughts and tasks in my head, still I end up praying again, for I know how much I need Him to be my strength.

I walk down the seemingly open and vulnerable streets, not knowing what will happen, until I whisper one more prayer, for only God can save me from this troubled earth.

I go on living, not because I have to, not because somebody needs me, but because I know I need Somebody, whom I know will always be there for me.

Yes, I am uniquely freak, I am in a good way obsessed, I am SANELY in love, and in a loving and intimate relationship with the Perfect Lover of my soul, that if I stop thinking, feeling and talking about Him, it's as if my insides will explode, for His love cannot just be contained inside my mortal world...

But if I say I'll never mention the LORD or speak in His name, His Word burns in my heart like a fire. It's like a fire in my bones! I am worn out trying to hold it in! I can't do it! Jeremiah 20:9 New Living Translation
